How to manage intervals in Cloudbeds

Modified on Mon, 29 Jan at 6:28 AM

It is crucial to understand how intervals in Cloudbeds work.

1) Rooms will not be available for sale online (OTAs and booking engine)  if there are missing intervals in the rate configuration.

Intervals are time frames assigned to a Cloudbeds base rate or a rate plan. For example, if we use Cloudbeds Base Rate on OTAs and booking engine, and we want to have our rooms available for sale between 1st Jan and 31st Dec, there must be an interval(s) that consists of all dates between 1st Jan and 31st Dec.  It can be one interval or several intervals.

2) Intervals can be set and viewed in Rates and Availabilities after accessing the specific rate plan:

If for some reason intervals will be set up this way, 14th to 18th May will not be available online.

3) NOTE! It is important to understand that these dates will not be available online, even if there will be availability and price entered in Availability Matrix:

4) If a certain date is not included in any interval, Pricepoint will not be able to update this date. Cloudbeds price may change to $0 and Pricepoint UI will show the red icon next to the price in its calendar:
