How to compare ADR between Cloudbeds and Pricepoint

Modified on Fri, 29 Sep, 2023 at 7:40 PM

Cloudbeds calculates the ADR of a specific night based on the price booked for that night.

Pricepoint calculates the ADR of a specific night based on the reservation total price divided by the number of nights booked.

Let's look at the example below to better understand this difference.

John Smith booked a room for 2 nights (Check-in: Jan 1 / Check-out: Jan 3) The price for Jan 1 is $100 and the price for the Jan 2 is $150. Therefore, the reservation total is $250.

Cloudbeds

ADR for Jan 1 will be $100

ADR for Jan 2 will be $150

Pricepoint

ADR for Jan 1 and Jan 2 will be the reservation total divided by the number of nights. That is $250/2 nights = $125
