How to compare the on the books values in Pricepoint and Mews?

In Pricepoint, you can use the Pickup Monitor to view bookings based on their booking date/creation date. However, please note that this monitor will not display cancellations or bookings with a price of $0.


Another option is to access Reports > Reservations, where you can switch to the Check-in date view. This allows you to see canceled reservations as well. Keep in mind that if a booking was both made and canceled before being connected to Pricepoint, we will not receive any information about the booking or cancellation.


In Mews, to access the same information, navigate to Reservations > Reservation report.


Mode: You have the choice between Detailed, which displays individual bookings, or Total, which shows the total amount.


Filter: The default setting is based on the booking date/creation date, but you can modify it if necessary.


Date: Select the specific dates you are interested in, and make sure to adjust the time as needed.


Options: By default, two options are enabled, namely "Include additional expenses" and "Include products." You need to remove these options to compare to Pricepoint.


Once you generate the report with the mode set to Totals, you can directly compare the results to Pricepoint.


Ensure that the Average Daily Rate (ADR) and revenue match between the report and Pricepoint. However, keep in mind that cancellations made prior to connecting to Pricepoint will not be included in the report.


If you wish to compare the report to a downloaded list of bookings, you can find the revenue information in the "Total amount" field.
