The Monthly Revenue Report in Pricepoint is an invaluable tool for hoteliers looking to gain a deeper understanding of their revenue trends over time. This report provides a clear and concise visual representation of your hotel's monthly revenue data, making it easy to identify patterns and assess performance.

Above the chart, you have the ability to customize your report based on your specific needs. These parameters include:

Room Type: Choose to view data for a specific room group or select 'All Room Types' for a comprehensive overview.

Year: Select the specific year you wish to analyze. This allows you to dive into revenue data for the chosen year.

Compare to: Tailor your analysis by choosing the period to which you want to compare your results. The options are 'Year ago,' 'Two years ago,' and 'Three years ago.'

The central focus of the Monthly Revenue Report is a visually intuitive column chart. The Y-axis displays monetary amounts, representing revenue, while the X-axis showcases all 12 months of the year. For each month, you'll find two columns:

Current Year: This column represents the revenue generated in the selected year.

Comparison Period: The second column is dedicated to a chosen period that you want to compare to. You have the flexibility to select the comparison period, allowing for a meaningful analysis of revenue trends.

You can open a tooltip containing the revenue values for the current year and the comparison period for any specific month simply by hovering the cursor over the chart.

Note: The values displayed in this report are by stay date. In the example above, the property yielded $56,390 for bookings staying during the month of July 2023.
